On 8 May 2023, the Attorney General had a very cordial meeting with Ms Ingrid Derveaux, Secretary General of the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN), at the Office of the Attorney General.
The European Judicial Training Network (EJTN) is a network of judicial training institutions and authorities from European Union (EU) member states. Its purpose is to promote and facilitate the exchange of knowledge, best practices, and training programmes among judicial professionals within the EU.
The purpose of the meeting was to enhance the quality and effectiveness of local prosecutors’ training through seminars, conferences, workshops, and training programmes in the fields of EU law, human rights, and criminal justice.
